Haven't been here in awhile so we decided to give them another try.we used to be regulars, but they raised their prices, and started charging for guacamole. Glad to say it was a good decision. The food was better than before and while the prices are the same I have to say they are worth it. Also try the organic margarita, fresh. Had the Carne asada, with extra green onions.

By far my favorite Mexican restaurant!!! I've been coming here for awhile bc I live in the area and each time I come I am never disappointed. Each meal I have is so delicious it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. They also give complimentary chips and salsa (mild is my fav) Service is always nice and the decor is unbelievable! Truly feel like I'm in Mexico and not just the dining area, the bathrooms are also super cool too which I guess is an added bonus. Basically, definitely try Rancho Chico!!

Great food, horrible service If the food wasn't so excellent I would give this place 0 star. The food alone gave it 2 stars. Fresh guac was great, made table side. Margarita made very well. I had enchiladas verdes and my husband fajitas with bacon. Refined bean authentic. Phenomenal food. We would love to return but will be hesitant due to poor service. Took over 10 minutes to get water despite being given chips and salsa. Took over 30 min to order our food. Table side guacamole made, had to wait 5 min until someone remembered to bring us chips. We were waving down every server in the place to get water, unable to find anyone to get extra tortillas. When we commented on the slow service, we got "yeah, we are busy." No manager came and checked on the table or refill water. The waiter was in the weeds, visibly stressed and no one seemed to care. And the room we were in had poor A/C ventilation. We may or may not give it another try. Food was so good, so bummed. Would have loved to make this place regular stop for us. If we do give it another try, would love to be proved wrong on the service.
The food was great, however, the portions are a little underwhelming. I had the chicken fajitas. There was more onions and green peppers than chicken, so I ordered extra chicken. They brought out house made chips and salsa at no charge. I also ordered a Lambrusco Margarita that was really good. I would recommend it, if your a wine drinker but still like your tequila. The service was a little slow but when they were around they were very helpful and friendly. As far as prices, it ranged between 7-10 for drinks and 9-15 per entrees. I would definitely comeback for those fajitas though.

I've been here a few times. The fajitas were delicious. Great margaritas. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Plates range from $10 to $20. Drinks hover around $10.

Mexican foods done right and priced fairly. Fast and friendly service in a clean, well kept atmosphere. When in St Cloud stop by for some great food and ice cold Mexican beers! The free chips and salsa are a plus!

Best Mexican food in Osceola County... Or maybe the whole State of Florida! Great prices, fast and fresh! Very friendly staff! It's the best!

Just had dinner here, they seemed to be a little busy due to a party that kept adding guest, but the service was still exceptional. The other servers were very friendly and attentive when our server was busy taking the party tables' orders. Our food was pretty delicious as well. They gave up plenty of chips for our salsa and queso, we didn't have much room for dinner. I was amazed with the amount of flour tortillas I received as well! Normally I'm given 3, here? A whooping 6! :p Check them out if you're out and about with a Mexican food craving!

Went for dinner the other day because I wanted some Mexican food. The service was quick not that busy at all. I ordered the chimichanga with chicken and rice. My food was ok nothing to rave about. Part of my chimichanga was soggy which made it not that appetizing. The rice was ok and the beans didn't have much taste. My husband had some meal called chicken Mexicana it was ok looked more like chicken stew, I tried it but didn't care for the taste of the sauce. Overall service was good, food was just ok I will try a different restaurant next time.

2 star restaurant with a 4 star meal. This is as Mexican as it gets! This food is prepared to order and it is just great. I've gotten the enchilada, two exact and they were DELISH had you full leaving you with enough food for later. The price is well cheap because when your plate arrives its like feeding for two. Salsa is made fresh and chips are store brought. Waiters are nice, friendly, and willing to throw in a discount. I recommend this restaurant!

Service is been pretty good for me!!! The food is okay but could add favor. Mojitos are amazing!!! My friend loves the margaritas and they are decent prices. I still go but wish they would add favor

Went here for lunch. Food is okay. Price is reasonable for lunch. Nothing really sets this restaurant apart from other Mexican restaurant we've been to.

Great food and atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Their house made salsa is great. Their quest dip is made with white cheese. Never had a bad meal here and we recommend it to everyone!

Not bad but if I go back in going to get something different. I got the fish tacos and they were kind of dry and bland. However the margaritas were amazing!

I have been staying in St. Cloud for a week and I am an HUGE Mexican and margarita fan. This place is by far the best place I have had. The margarita was amazing and the chips and salsa were super fresh. If you like queso this is the place!!! The portions are very big and you get what you pay for!

The best Mexican food anywhere near!!! Love this place! And the service has really been amazing every time I've been here since my last post so I wanted to give them their do's :)

Pretty subpar. I'm thinking a four star review means the reviewer was already drunk when they arrived. Service: Random at best. Not only forgot things, but questioned whether I really wanted it! Dumb. Pluses: Negra Modelo on tap, giant German sized beer steins if you want a large. Food: fair to poor. Salsa really lame. Hot wasn't hot, and neither tastes good. The doofus who waited on us couldn't describe the food beyond reading the menu, which I, surprisingly can do as well. OK if there is nothing else, but I would almost consider this as bad as fast food, and not worth returning to.

Lunch Carne Assada was really good and well served. The fajitas were very tender. Service was quite fast/good. If around that area, you should check it out.

My mother and I have been coming here for a while and each time everything is extremely delicious! I can have 2 or 3 cups of their pico de gallo with one serving of chips...it's that good. It's very mild and chunky. Their enchiladas and tostadas are great. All the vegetables are fresh. Their rice and beans have wonderful flavor too! I would recommend Rancho Chico to anyone that loves real authentic Mexican food.

We were searching for good food in St Cloud which is very difficult to find. We decided to stop in to try it out after a recommendation from a friend. They brought us some chips and salsa, which my husband said was the best salsa he has had at a restaurant. The guacamole was good, I added a little salt and lemon to it, but it was pretty good, I'm just picky. I ordered the chicken fajitas which was served with rice refried beans, guacamole, and pico de gallo. It was really good. I really enjoyed my meal. The only thing that annoyed me was that they did not bring enough plates for the chips and I was trying to flag down a server for a few minutes. But other than that, the server was very nice, and attentive. They provided a coloring page and crayons for my son and had a children's menu, which didn't help us much because my son didn't want anything but I guess it's the thought that counts. I liked it, I'd go back.

We eat here at least twice a month, if not more. The food is consistently wonderful. I have never ever had a bad meal! The tortilla chips come out warm with fantastic salsa! They also make a pretty good margarita and pina colada! The price is really good too, our family of 6 can eat there for under $50 - where else can you do that?! The service can be a little slow, we find it usually takes longer to get our check to pay than it does to get our food but the food brings us back again and again!

Whenever I visit the area I stop here ,I especially love getting 2 crunchy Shredded Chicken Tacos with 1 Chicken Enchilada with the Rice & re-fried beans , Yum Yum Waitress Diana is So friendly and provided good service .....

This was my first visit to Rancho Chico since we moved to Saint Cloud last year. I must say, it was a lot better than I was expecting. We went on Father's Day, which no surprise, it was packed! After a very short wait we were seated and given some home made chips and salsa, yum. Staff was very nice and the food was excellent! I ordered the Carne Asada, which I admit was the best one I've ever tasted; thin and flavorful. Will definitely come again!
(5)

on my to Orlando I stop at this restaurant for lunch. The main menu have many options they also have lunch specials. I did order the beef Barito and he was extremely tasty I also got nachos for a great price. The service was phenomenal these guys were friendly. Decoration is very Mexican and pretty. The restaurant seems very clean, I'll be back!
(5)

Service was sporadic and insincere. The employees seemed annoyed about our presence. Salsa and chips were good. Queso dip tasted processed and bland. I ordered chicken and steak fajitas. There was more fajita vegetables than meat on my skillet. The refried beans were bland and the rice was very dry. My boyfriend ordered the fajita burrito which was also heavy on the vegetables instead of the meat. Considering the prices were relatively high for typical Mexican food, I expected better quality food and service. Will definitely not return.

I had the Mariscos Rancheros plus a Margarita. Wow!!! Great food, excellent service and wonderful atmosphere. This is a must do Mexican Restaurant!

I love Rancho Chico. Everytime i'm in the area I manage to convince my cousin's family to go to eat here. it's been hit or miss with the wait staff. They have never messed up my order or anything like that, but just not very helpful or friendly. but when the waiters are good, they are very good. Really what keeps me coming back is the food. I have had different things off the menu, I am particular to the Super Burrito, but I just recently discovered the Rancho Asado Burrito and I will be ordering that from now on. The meat is delicious and makes the rest of the meal great. This is a good place for kids, they give them crayons and something to color, it's also the menu for children. If you love Mexican food this is the place to be in the area. The only thing holding me back from giving it a full five stars is the waitstaff.

This place is really good. I've lived in St. Cloud for years, and I had never been here. Since I discovered it a couple of months ago, I've been here 3 times. Here is what I've personally noticed: better food at lunchtime than dinner time. I can't explain why. I'm pretty sure everything is just fresh in the afternoon. The salsa is good, and it is definitely prepared fresh. Even batches throughout one meal change. Sometimes it is way way way too heavy on the cilantro. Other than that, quite yummy. The queso is delicious. I usually get the wet chicken burrito with rice and beans. The portions are huge. You WILL be full. They do not have "real" sweet tea, but it's a Mexican restaurant, so I can deal with that. The margaritas are priced great. I would definitely recommend this place.

Went here the first time tonight - it was very good. Great chips and fresh salsa to go with them. Chicken taquitos were a whole mean and delicious. Nachos plate was excellent - carne asada (giant) burrito was very good and tasty. Guacamole made at our table was particularly good. Quesadillas were delicious. Flan was exceptional and the huge plate of sopapillas was enough for all to enjoy. Wonderful service by very caring servers - very attentive and refilled our drinks without us having to ask. We will definitely be back! A great place!

It's been a month since I first discovered Rancho Chico and I've been here three times already. The food is always good and the service is always prompt and friendly. I think this is my go to Mexican place for sure. I've tried 3 different burritos and all were great. I'm trying to venture out to other parts of the menu, but the burritos keep calling my name!

I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food and the service were excellent. The prices were very reasonable. Portions were large - there was plenty to eat.

Food is average. Prices are a bit high for average food. Service was extremely slow, considering the place was practically empty. Had to wait forever for chip refills. Server got my drink order wrong, and was generally unhappy to be working. Will not visit again.

The service was great. Food was okay but parking was a nightmare. Good food for the price. Salsa is very souplike. Not a first or second choice unfortunately.

Good salsa. Food was made with fresh crisp veggies and tasted good. Our server was courteous and quick. I had a seafood chimichanga. I felt I got a decent amount of seafood. Lots of beans and rice, very generous portions. It's not only the best Mexican food in st cloud. I think it's the only Mexican food in st. Cloud.

Although the food is always good and it's close to home, I have been to far better Mexican restaurants that offer more authentic meals. It's very convenient the staff is always friendly so check it out for yourself and you rate it.
They have recently changed their name to Rancho Chico Mexican Restaurant, but it's the same family and people working there. Looks like they joined the local chain from the Tequesta/Jupiter/Stuart area. The renovations inside make the place look much better. Bright booths and tables. New menus to match the other locations, and a separate lunch only menu as well. The salsa is still yummy and fresh, and the chips are nice and hot! I asked a server if they were going to get a full liquor license. He said that they are trying, but having a few difficulties with the city. Hopefully, the will prevail. I would love to try a non-frozen margarita the next time I am there! Looks like they have outdoor seating now too. Just in time for the heat! ;)

What stood out to me the most was their salsa!! Great salsa, good atmosphere, reasonably priced food and large quantities. I went in for lunch, and I would go back again to check out their evening/dinner atmosphere and try out a margarita or two, with those chips and salsa. :)

Rancho Chico is one of the better family owned restaurants in Saint Cloud. The prices are reasonable, the food consistent, and the service is always good. Originally known as the Cancun Cafe, I've eaten here since it was originally located farther west on 192 where the IHOP now resides.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Cloud.

Really really good. Try the Carne Asada.

Although the food is always good and it's close to home, I have been to far better Mexican restaurants that offer more authentic meals. It's very convenient the staff is always friendly so check it out for yourself and you rate it.

Today for lunch was my first visit and I was totally impressed. The service staff was excellent; friendly, helpful and attentive. Dining area is on the small side with traditional décor. There is a full bar with seating. I'll give them my Perfect Manhattan test when I return some evening. I'll expect the Margarita to be premium. As expected they start you off with chips and salsa but a big difference. The salsa is definitely fresh made in the kitchen with fresh ingredients. I could have made a meal of the salsa alone. The timid should be aware that the salsa has a nice bit of fire; just enough. The entrée was excellent with a reasonable portion, fresh ingredients, and cared for presentation. I had the Tostada Burrito that was the lunch special for $7.95 and it was the best I've ever tasted. I will go back with the family.

Just in time for the heat! ;)

Delicious little Mexican place. I loved the asada burrito I had, I wish I was more hungry at the time and had sampled more. Another trip is in order and next time I will have a margarita!

What stood out to me the most was their salsa!! Great salsa, good atmosphere, reasonably priced food and large quantities. I went in for lunch, and I would go back again to check out their evening/dinner atmosphere and try out a margarita or two, with those chips and salsa. :)

Never had a bad meal here. By far the best mexican food in town and the price is very reasonable for a sit down meal.

Rancho Chico is one of the better family owned restaurants in Saint Cloud. The prices are reasonable, the food consistent, and the service is always good. Originally known as the Cancun Cafe, I've eaten here since it was originally located farther west on 192 where the IHOP now resides.
